A 1983 graduate of RIT in Pro Photography, Carl was selected from a field of 3500 entries for the inaugural Sinar Bron - Swiss Grand Master Award. Since then, he has created thousands of images for Armstrong World Industries, Inc. These include three ads recognized by Architectural Record as the 1st, 5th and 14th “Best Read Ads” of 1987 and a 1991 Bronze Award from Eastman Kodak for Excellence in Advertising.


In 1999, Carl helped develop and market his “Imaginteriors” process, which digitally inserts flooring and ceiling product designs into room set and location photos for Armstrong national and point of sale advertising. In addition, he photographed Homewood Suites and Hampton Inns, commercial buildings and manufacturing facilities for High Industries Inc. and other clients.
